Due to the stormy weather on April 16, the Bonfire Social has been rescheduled for Saturday April 30.
A major part of the Mindfire initiative is bringing together people with burning ideas — then building a supportive, encouraging community that can provide the resources and enthusiasm to help make those ideas happen.
To that end, the next MindFire social event will be held at our farm at 1264 Rocky Ford Road, north of Louisburg, on Saturday, April 30.
We have a huge pile of stumps and brush waiting for the spark that will ignite the bonfire! We’ll have lots of great food and conversation to stimulate your taste buds, your mind and your heart. Please mark your calendar and plan on arriving anytime after 1 p.m. We’ll eat at 4 p.m. (bring a dish to share and folding chairs or a blanket to sit on). Lemonade and water will be provided (feel free to bring beer, wine, soft drinks or any other libations you and your family would enjoy). Children are welcome.
We’ll light the bonfire late in the afternoon (drought conditions and weather permitting) and hope it sparks some great conversation!
